Under Skylar Apter and the Nickelodeon team’s directions, I had the pleasure to sketch some initial propositions and ideas for these lovely super princesses.

Runkel and the Digedags is based on the Digedags MOSAIK comics by Hannes Hegen, published in Berlin from 1955 to 1975. It was great giving a hand with the redesign of these two characters.

Cynthia Ritchie is a Sony Talent League Edition III Finalist. Following her direction, I designed the character’s line up and teamed up with Laura Lofaro (who worked as a background artist) to help Cynthia develop the art for her pitch.

I had the opportunity to work as a character designer for a series of teasers for the Android game Merge Gardens. Working for Milford Animation Studios was an amazing experience.

For Season 4, I worked as a concept and designer for the Live Action inserts with the style established on the previous season by Gábor Steisinger.
To present the ideas of the 26 episodes, I did small storyboards placed on top of the raw footage to help with the timing/position of the action.

I also worked as a color artist on more than 20 characters and over 30 props.

I joined Hahn Film AG in Berlin, Germany as a ‘Zauberlehrling’ (Sorcerer’s Apprentice), aka Trainee, where I was very lucky to have Gábor Steisinger as my mentor, supervisor and friend for the next 5 years. One of the first projects I joined was Mia and Me Season 3.

This was among the first TV series I joined at Hahn Film AG. I mainly worked as a 2D artist and visual effects designer/supervisor. I also helped in the development of the opening titles, credits, recaps, wipes and flashback screens using After Effects.
Some of my tasks included making sure that the 3D models of over 40 characters and props stayed on model, giving instructions and correcting proportions. I also worked as a look developer correcting textures and color. Other tasks included revising storyboards, motion design and graphics, action maps, poster designs, pose corrections and touch ups for the merchandising.

As a visual effects designer, I designed more than 90 effects and supervised their development on the 26 episodes.

I also worked as a storyboard revisionist in a couple of episodes, sometimes retouching whole sequences.

For 5 years, I worked in various steps along the production of the Sorgenfresser (Worry Eaters) TV series produced by Hahn Film and co-produced by Nickelodeon. I worked as a character designer for the TV series as well as an illustrator for the merchandising.

I also worked as a color artist on more than 10 characters and 20 props.
